Justin A. Harnish is a multifaceted professional whose career spans engineering, data science, authorship, and humanitarian efforts. With a foundation in chemical engineering, Justin has contributed significantly to semiconductor research and development, holding patents and publications.
At Mastercard Open Banking, Justin plays a pivotal role in leading the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence products for fraud reduction, payments, and in GenAI. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, AI product management, data analysis, and IP protection.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Justin is an author and speaker. His book, “Meaning in the Multiverse,” delves into the intersections of philosophy and physics, exploring universal meaning. He also offers talks on the meaningfulness of human existence, characterized by novel insights and a compassionate approach.  
Dedicated to community development, Justin has been recognized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for his service to refugee communities. He is actively involved with Women of the World, a nonprofit organization in Salt Lake City that he founded alongside his wife, that empowers forcibly displaced women to achieve self-reliance and economic success.
